Francesca Woodman

I tend to fall in love with everything extraordinary, dark and weird. I've been like this forever. Most of my favorite movies are psychological dramas involving characters with extremely troubled personalities and variety of mental problems. I love music which makes me feel like I'm not alone, someone more talented than me already went through this and made something out of it to make people like me feel better. I know I sound crazy but I just wanted to clear this up. I just love everything dark and mysterious. When it comes to photography, Francesca Woodman is definitely one of my favorites. Her black and white photographs mostly featuring herself, with ghostly silhouettes and surrealistic surroundings are my favorites.  I'm interested in not only her work but her life as well. She was  incredibly talented, different from everyone, just amazing. So you'll probably see more posts about her round here soon.
Francesca Woodman has produced merely 800 photographs and committed suicide at the age of 22. I'm sharing some of my favorite works of her with you here.

Like Dreamers Do

'Like Dreamers Do' is probably my favorite photoshoot by Tim Walker. It was made for Vogue UK December 2012 issue featuring gorgeous Malgosia Bela. The setting is stunning with so many different colors mixed so well together. It's all surrealistic, magical and psychedelic  like some beautiful hallucinations.

Niko Pirosmani

 Niko Pirosmani (Pirosmanashvili) was georgian primitivist painter.He was born in 1862 in Kakheti (east past of Georgia).His parents - Aslan Pirosmanashvili and Tekle Toklikishvili were farmers.Niko moved to Tbilisi in 1870 with her sisters.In 1882 he opened a workshop with self-taught George Zaziashvili.In 1890 he worked as a railroad conductor.Niko was very poor and was working hard.The first book about Pirosmani was published in 1926.His exhibitions were  in Paris (TheLouvre),Vienna,Tokyo,Kiev,Vilnius and e.t.Pirosmani is depicted on the one Georgian Lari bill.In 1972 the the movie ''Pirosmani'' directed by Giorgi Shengelaya won the Grand Prix at the Chicago Film Festival.Director Sergey Prajanov also shoot a short film about Pirosmani ''Arabesques on a Pirosmani Theme''.
