Audrey Hepburn:The Woman Icon

Audrey Hepburn, an icon of classic film and contemporary style is one of our idols. Her natural beauty and elegance, innocent smile and charm make it quite impossible not to adore her. She wasn’t only a natural beauty and a talented actress, but a great person as well.  Although she starred with leading names like Gregory Peck, Humphrey Bogart, Gary Cooper, Cary Grant, Henry Fonda, William Holden, Fred Astaire, Peter O'Toole, and Albert Finney, Audrey never let her fame affect her humble personality. She always avoided conflicts and everyone adored working with her.
Audrey portrayed many different characters and made all of them iconic. After the release of her Hollywood debut Roman Holliday, fashion world would never be the same.  She started many trends including the little black dress which she wore in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”.  She also adored Capri pants, ballet shoes, men’s shirts, turtlenecks and trench coats. Audrey was a muse and a good friend of Hubert de Givenchy.
Audrey Hepburn’s name is not associated with classic movies and fashion only, she was also involved in numerous humanitarian activities. She worked for UNICEF since 1950 and  did charity work in Africa, South America and Asia.
Audrey Hepburn is our role model and we respect her for all the great things she has done, for all the goals she has accomplished and for being beautiful inside ouShe won  Academy Award, for Best Actress in the 1953 film Roman Holiday.
