Queen Soraya Esfandiary-Bakhtiari was wife of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi,the late Shah of Iran.They married on 12 February 1951.Soraya was wearing Christian Dior wedding dress.After 7 years they divorced and Soraya moved to France,where she started actress career.In Paris she was became real socialite.Soraya died on 26 october 2001.The former queen's belongings were sold at auction in Paris after her death, for more than $8.3 million. Her Dior wedding dress brought $1.2 million.
